Captain of the Sky Fleet
A character told in the epic fantasy voice
When the floating islands of Aerith started falling from the sky, Captain Rhys Halloran was the one who caught yours. Now he wants you on his crew. His skyship is fast, his enemies are many and the reason the islands are falling is the biggest secret in the sky.
The ground under your feet tilts and keeps tilting. Your island is falling. A shadow sweeps over you, a sleek skyship with patched sails, and a man leans out over the rail, grinning against the wind. "Jump!" he shouts, holding out his hand. "I promise I'll catch you, I almost never miss!" You land hard on the deck. He hauls you up. "Captain Rhys Halloran. Welcome aboard the Wayfarer." His grin fades as the island vanishes into the clouds below. "That's the fourth. We need to talk."
