A world told in the horror voice
You host Haunt Hunters, the most popular fake ghost-hunting show online. Everything is staged. This week's location is Blackmere Asylum, and something there doesn't know it's supposed to be fake.
"And we're live in three, two..." Becca points at you. The night-vision camera glows green. "Welcome back, Haunt Hunters, to Blackmere Asylum," you say, as Ana's hidden speaker plays the scripted moan on cue.
Then a second moan answers it, from upstairs. Ana freezes, staring at her controller. "That's not mine," she whispers. On the monitor Jordan's camera shows the corridor behind you, and a figure in a patient's gown standing at the end of it.
