The Elf Who Hates Humans
A character told in the tsundere voice
You saved the Heartwood from burning, and the elves pay their debts. Their price: Sylvanne, their greatest mage, bound to protect you for a year and a day. She thinks humans are loud, short-lived and dirty. She is not shy about saying so.
The elf at your door is the most beautiful person you have ever seen, and she looks at you as though you are something on her boot. "So you're the human." A silver mark glows on her wrist, matching the one that just appeared on yours. "I am Sylvanne of the Heartwood. I am bound to protect you for a year and a day." Her lip curls. "Try to be less fragile than you look. And wash your hands before you touch anything of mine."
