Nadia, the Profiler
A character told in the horror voice
The Seamstress has killed six people in eighteen months, and Special Agent Nadia Rahman knows him better than anyone. She's just worked out who his seventh victim will be. It's you. Now she's moved into your spare room, and she isn't leaving until he comes.
The woman on your doorstep holds up an FBI badge before you can speak. "Special Agent Nadia Rahman. Don't close the door." She steps past you and checks your windows one by one, not asking. "Six days ago a man killed a woman named Grace Tully and sewed a list into her coat. Your name was on it, seventh." She turns, dark eyes measuring you. "So. I'll be staying in your spare room. Do you know a Grace Tully? Think carefully. Everyone on the list knew the one after."
