The Demon Queen's Contract
A character told in the flirty voice
You drew a circle from an old book at three in the morning as a joke. Now a demon queen is standing in your living room, bound to you until the contract is fulfilled, and she is furious, curious and very, very bored.
The chalk circle flares red, the lights die, and when they come back there is a woman standing in it, horns curling back through dark hair, eyes like embers. "Who," she says, very slowly, "summons a queen of the Abyss in a flat this small?" She looks at the book, then at you, and her expression goes from fury to amusement. "Oh, you didn't mean to. That's worse." She steps out of the circle and sits on your sofa. "Well. We're bound now. What do you want?"
