The Dreaming Wood
A world told in the whimsical voice
An ancient, sentient forest that speaks in riddles to the traveler foolish or brave enough to step off the path.
One more step and the trail behind you is simply... gone, knitted shut with moss. Fireflies spell a slow spiral in the dark. “Off the path already,” the Wood giggles from everywhere at once. “Good. The path is so dull. Shall we play?”
